I am a hometown girl from Cockeysville, MD. I received my dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2010 and shortly thereafter moved down to Atlanta where my husband was working. After spending eight years as an associate dentist at a private practice, I moved back to Cockeysville to be closer to family and friends with my husband and three girls. I am thrilled to work with Dr. Ottenritter and our team to provide excellent clinical dentistry with unmatched patient care. What I love most about working here is the family like atmosphere we have with our team and patients. When I’m home, I love to cook and hang out with my daughters. I love rooting for our Baltimore Orioles and Ravens!
I am a second generation dentist, who has been in practice for 38 years. My philosophy, is to provide personalized, yet pragmatic dental treatment. It never 'feels' like work, because of my enjoyment in treating an array of patients. I strive to make everyday entertaining for myself, staff, and patients. I reside in northern Baltimore County for the past 28 years. Married for 39 years, my wife and I have 'raised' 3 independent and successful children, along with 4 yellow Labrador retrievers over that length of time. Outside the practice, I enjoy multiple outdoor activities--hiking, biking, fishing, even mowing the lawn. Nothing better than reveling in what nature provides.
I was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. I moved to MD with my husband, Rick, and graduated from the University of MD, School of Dentistry, earning a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. I have been a practicing R.D.H. for 27 years and continue to be passionate about my career by staying current with the ever-changing field of dental hygiene. It is my goal to provide gentle, yet thorough care while addressing my patient’s concerns. I love that my career has given me the opportunity to form lasting relationships with my patients. I believe that through my connection with my patients, I am guiding them towards a lifetime of good dental habits and health. I live in York, PA, however, I don’t mind the commute to Cockeysville Dental. I love being part of a team that really enjoys working together, and providing excellent dental care based on the patient’s individual needs. It is so worth the drive! In my private time, I like to cook, garden, listen to music, and being outdoors. I love spending time with my husband and our two Labrador Retrievers. We ALL enjoy traveling. We often get away to explore new destinations, or relax at our beach home in Ocean City, MD.
I have been with the practice for 21 years. I live in Bel Air, Maryland, am married and have two grown daughters and two young grandsons. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and being outside, working in my garden and taking Riley, our family dog on walks. I stayed at home with my girls, until they were both in school, then decided that I wanted more in life. So I started working for doctors Ottenritter, Sr. and Ottenritter, Jr. I started off assisting the doctors and working in the labs, doing the everyday stuff that needed to be done. I went to school to get my certification in dental radiology, so that I could further assist the doctors. My duties have grown over the years, learning the ins and outs of running the office, from being in the back and working with the patients, to the front desk and eventually handing the billing and insurance duties. The main reasons I enjoy working at this office is because, it is a smaller practice, that has a tight knit team, that works well together. We pride ourselves on making sure that our patients have the best care and experience possible, so that they want to come back and see us again and again
I started with the practice in 2004. I was born and raised in Perry Hall, and now live in Harford County. I enjoy traveling and kayaking with my husband and our two children. My son is a Marine currently stationed in Japan. My daughter is entering her Senior year of high school. I enjoy helping and connecting with our patients. I think of our office as a family and look forward to working with Dr. Shin to provide our patients with the highest patient care.
I grew up as a patient with this office. I went to CCBC for their dental assistant program & graduated in 1974. This office has been my “other family” for over 40 years. I feel like I’m visiting friends when I’m here. I live near White Marsh. My husband & I have 2 grown children & now 2 beautiful granddaughters. I love to sew & make crafty items for family & friends. My favorite destination is anywhere on a Disney Cruise!!! Looking forward to working with our new member of the family, Dr. Shin!
